The Rails Guild is a directory and verification platform for Rails developers, run by Joel Gaff, Jr. The official entity behind it is Endurance Evolution, LLC. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

Your account

• Sign-in is by email code. Keep control of your email; whoever controls it controls your account.
• One account per person. Be a real person, and list only work that is yours.

Your content

• You own what you publish: your profile, bio, avatar, and product listings.
• By publishing, you grant us a license to display that content in the directory, on your public page, and in previews of those pages.
• Do not publish anything unlawful, deceptive, or infringing. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

Verification and badges

• Verification proves control of a site by a token check. Do not game it.
• Badges are earned and can be revoked if the evidence behind them stops holding, or if they were obtained dishonestly.

Sponsors

Sponsor plaques are paid placements, always labeled, and never influence membership, badges, or rank.

The service

• The Rails Guild is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Endurance Evolution, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
• We may change or discontinue features, and may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.

Trademarks

The Rails trademarks are the intellectual property of David Heinemeier Hansson, and exclusively licensed to the Rails Foundation. Uses of "Rails" and "Ruby on Rails" on this site are for identification purposes only and do not imply an endorsement by or affiliation with Rails, the trademark owner, or the Rails Foundation.
